Islamic Relief Palestine (IRPAL), in partnership with the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), is responsible for the implementation of a new TVET/LM project
entitled Enhancing Youth Employability in the Gaza Strip. The overall goal of the Enhancing Youth Employability (EYE) project is to improve youth employability in the Gaza Strip while, at the same time, improving the overall TVET system in the Gaza Strip.
IRPAL is seeking a qualified and experienced senior international consultant within the following conditions:
Position: Local Short Term Expert (LSTE) in Finance for Non-Financial Managers
Work Location: Based in Gaza Strip
Duration: 13 work days in the Gaza Strip
Qualifications and Skill Requirements:
- Initial or higher degree in accounting and financial management or related discipline.
- At least 15 years professional experience in finance and accounting.
- At least 10 years’ experience in designing and conducting competency based and competency assessed financial management training programmes based on adult learning principles.
- Previous experience specifically in conducting financial training courses for non-financial
mangers is an advantage
- Have knowledge of electronic spreadsheets.
- Excellent analytical skills and insight
- A high level of proficiency/fluency in spoken and written English.
